Local SEND school watch Eze and Mateta in training!

Students from Addington Valley Academy, Croydon, were recently invited down to the Crystal Palace F.C. training ground to experience men's first-team training.

Lucky students from Addington Valley Academy recently had the chance to meet their heroes at the Crystal Palace F.C. training ground. From watching football training drills led by Oliver Glasner, to playing jokes with Eberechi Eze, the students had a fantastique day – watch the below video for wholesome content, with cameos from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Maxence Lacroix!

Addington Valley Academy is a co-educational Special School with places for children and young people aged 2-19 who have autism and social communication, cognitive, sensory and social, emotional, and behavioural needs in the Croydon area.

Addington Valley Academy is just one school we work with as part of our work in schools supporting people with disabilities. Two years ago, the school opened their very own ‘Palace Class’, where some of our sessions with students at the school take place. These sessions help improve young people’s motor skills and physical fitness, as well as building their self-esteem and provide opportunities to interact with new friends and the wider community.
